そのポケモンGOの開発元のNianticから、近日追加される「協力プレイ」に関する案内があるらしい

Polygonは、ポケモンGOのアップデートで「レイド戦（nearby raids）」やジム機能のコードを発見した
このレイド戦の内容は、どうも、近くでレイド戦があった場合にプレーヤーに通知を送る機能があらしい。

Polygon found “code of raid (nearby raids)” and a code of gym function in the update of Pokemon GO
