夏の風物詩となっている日本橋（東京都中央区）の「橋洗い」がほのぼのとしているね。

24日、夏の風物詩となっている日本橋（東京都中央区）の「橋洗い」！。
“Bridge washing” of 24 days, Nihonbashi, which has become a tradition of the summer (Chuo-ku, Tokyo)! .
かつては五街道の起点で、現在は日本国道路の原点となる重要文化財「日本橋」の美化保存のため、地元有志が年に1回一斉に橋を洗うイベント。

1968（昭和43）年から始められ、今では日本橋の夏の風物詩となっている。

約1800人の参加者が、デッキブラシで1年の汚れを落とした。

今年は節水に配慮し、再生水が使用。
