馬に乗りながら矢で的を射る伝統の流鏑馬が立川市で行われたよ
流鏑馬は平安時代中期に記された「新猿楽記」によりますと、朝廷の警護をしていた武者などの宮中行事として行われていたとされています。
鎌倉時代から約８００年の伝統を受け継ぎ、
伝統の装束に身を包む「射手」が、
馬で約３００メートルを走りながら、木の的に向かって矢を放つ
おおよく当たるね。
