00000JAPANは、大規模災害が発生した際に、契約している通信キャリアに関わらず公衆無線LANを無料開放する取り組みで、被災エリアでWi-FiのSSID「00000JAPAN」（一部のエリアではSSIDが異なる）に接続することで、インターネット接続を無料で利用出来る。
