製紙業が盛んな苫小牧で紙の魅力を発信するイベント「紙フェスティバル」

苫小牧市内の製紙工場や北海道新聞苫小牧支社などでつくる実行委は２２日、３２回目の今年限りで終了することを決めた。
最終回は９月１日にグランドホテルニュー王子（苫小牧市表町４）で開く。

苫小牧に合わせて胆振管内白老町で同時期に開く紙フェスについては、
今年は９月６～８日にしらおい創造空間「蔵」（同町本町１）で開く予定。
来年以降の開催は今後、白老の実行委で協議する。

An event “Paper Festival” to disseminate the attractiveness of paper in Tomakomai, where the paper industry is thriving

The executive committee, which will be made at a paper mill in Tomakomai and at the Hokkaido Shimbun Tomakomai branch, has decided to finish on the 22nd, this year’s limit.

This year, it is scheduled to open in Shiraoi creative space “Kazo” (Docho Honcho 1) on September 6-8.
The next year’s meeting will be discussed at the whitening executive committee.
