札幌のサッポロファクトリーで高さ約１５メートルある巨大クリスマスツリーの点灯式がありました。
赤や緑の約３万５千個の発光ダイオード（ＬＥＤ）電球に明かりがともる。
ツリーは「サンタランド」としての町づくりを進める北海道広尾町が寄贈したトドマツを使用。
１２月２５日まで、毎日点灯！。
