最近の南富良野の災害で仕事を行った際に、非常に準備された状況で淡々と行われていました。
When I worked in the recent disaster of Minamifurano,It was done indifferently in a very prepared situation.
聞くと、その発端は９０年前の噴火「大正泥流」からだそうです。
When asked, its inception is seems from 90 years ago eruption “Taisho mud flow”.
１９２６年５月２４日、水蒸気爆発が起きた。山の一部が崩れ、残雪を溶かし、泥流が美瑛川と富良野川を一気に下った。泥流は２５分ほどで約２５キロ離れた上富良野町まで達した。同町で１３７人、隣の美瑛町で７人が犠牲となり、３７２棟の建物が倒壊した。大きな被害を受けた上富良野町草分地区の神社には、大正泥流を題材にした三浦綾子さんの小説「泥流地帯」の一節が刻まれた…
On 24th May 1926, a steam explosion occurred.
A part of the mountain collapsed, melting the residual snow, mud flow went down at the Biei river and the Furano River in a stroke.
The mud stream reached Furano-cho, about 25 kilometers away in about 25 minutes.
137 people in the same town, seven next to Biei-cho becomes a sacrifice, 372 buildings had collapsed.

12月24日、自衛隊の応援を受け、上富良野町と共同でワイヤーセンサーによる泥流監視装置を設置。

ボランティア、企業や行政が、数日から1月間対応し、現在収束しています。

Volunteers, businesses and administration have responded from 1 month correspondence from a few days.
この集中は、尋常じゃありませんでした。
This concentration was the incredible action.
これで、分かりました90年前から準備が進められ、今に受け継がれています。
